Q: Can I try Writer’s Blocks before I buy it?

A: Yes, a 14-day free trial version of Writer’s Blocks is available for download today. The Writer’s Blocks trial version is fully functional and includes a tutorial, sample files, and access to each feature required to fully evaluate the product.

Q: Can I purchase a download-only copy of Writer’s Blocks?

A: You can purchase and download an electronic copy of Writer’s Blocks at our online web store. The download version of Writer’s Blocks will not run until it is activated using a unique software key, authorizing the program to run on a specific computer. After we receive your order for the download version of Writer’s Blocks we will e-mail download instructions containing the license information required to activate the product on your computer.

A: Only registered users are eligible for free technical support. Registered users also receive notifications of product updates and upgrades. Additionally, when you register, your serial number is recorded into our database. This allows us to verify the number for you if it has been lost. Register your product today.

Q: I misplaced my serial number. Can you please look up my serial number in your user database?

A: If the software program is installed, you can find the serial number in the “About Writer’s Blocks” section in the Writer’s Blocks Help menu. If you have a boxed product, you can also find your serial number on the inside cover of the manual or on the registration card that came in the package. If you’ve registered your product, Ashley Software can look up the serial number for you if you e-mail us. If you’ve registered your product, Ashley Software can look up the serial number for you if you amyl us. Ashley Software can provide you with a new serial number if you send us proof of purchase (copy of a commercial invoice or receipt or CD).

Q: How can I report a bug in the application or an error in the documentation?

A: Please submit bug reports, documentation errors, and feature requests through our Suggestion and Bug Report online form. Our software engineers review these reports and do their best to address these requests in the next product release cycle.
