Upgrade pricing is only available for Writer’s Blocks 2.0 and Writer’s Blocks 3 and is not available for Writer’s Blocks 1.0 or 1.1.

How to Upgrade

Make sure your copy of Writer’s Blocks 3 or 2.0 is eligible for upgrade. Full versions of Writer’s Blocks 3 and 2.0 are eligible. Free trial products, Not For Resale, and beta versions are not eligible for upgrade.
Find your product's serial number. You'll need to supply this number when you purchase your upgrade. (Read Finding Your Serial Number below for tips on finding your serial number).
You can purchase and upgrade:

You will receive a new product serial number and license for Writer’s Blocks version 4. Install your new upgrade.

Upgrade Policy

What product versions are eligible for upgrade pricing?

Ashley Software allows customers purchasing Writer’s Blocks 4 to take advantage of discount upgrade prices when upgrading from the previous release of our product.

Only Writer's Blocks 3 and Writer's Blocks 2.0 are upgradeable to Writer’s Blocks 4.

Finding Your Serial Number

Where can I find my product serial number?

If the software program is installed, you can find the serial number in the lower right portion of the splash screen that is displayed when you start Writer’s Blocks.

If you have a boxed product, you can also find your serial number on the inside cover of the manual or on the registration card that came in the package.

I can't find my serial number. Can you help?

If you've registered your product, Ashley Software can look up the serial number for you if you email us. If you haven't registered your product you must do so before ordering the upgrade. Ashley Software can provide you with a new serial number if you send us proof of purchase (copy of a commercial invoice or receipt). Back to Top
